As P1 #216 of 375 produced, this represents one of McLaren’s key modern halo cars, pairing hybrid technology with focused chassis development and lightweight construction. Configured as a collector-oriented road car with track-capable equipment, this P1 reflects the model’s role in defining McLaren’s contemporary performance benchmark.
Powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 with hybrid assist developing a combined 903 hp and paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission driving the rear wheels, this delivers the performance expected of McLaren’s first hybrid hypercar. The specification is built around an extensive MSO program: Amethyst Black over satin carbon fiber exterior elements, satin carbon rockers and inner tub, Amethyst Black rear wing upper surfaces, and an Amethyst Black P1 logo on the engine cover. Inside, leather and Alcantara seats in black and purple with purple P1 headrest embroidery are complemented by purple contrast stitching on the steering wheel, black Alcantara carpets and door inserts, satin carbon fiber vent bezels and instrument cluster bezel, and factory 6-point harnesses, with accessories including the battery charger, car cover, book and case, and safety kit.
